Apparently, it's 'business as usual' for some...

Sarkisian Continues China Vacation

This is the part I found the most "interesting":

He was accompanied by the secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council, Artur Baghdasarian, the chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Gagik Tsarukian, and other senior officials.

I don't know about anyone else, but usually I make a point of NOT going on vacation with someone who I've accused of trying to assassinate me... ;)

I think it is another opposition low blow. Any and every move or non-move is seen as a chance to mock Armenia's leadership.

Relations with China are probably more important anyway.

One would think that the president of a country whose main import routes are being threatened would return to his country to help ensure security and stability.
Not to mention that the threat is because of war in the neighbouring country, with significant implications (aside from import routes)for his own country.
One would think.
One is apparently wrong.

The least I can say is that he simply doesn't care.

I think it is very irresponsible. I get the feeling that he dodges the responsibility. It is a good excuse not to say anything and not to get involved.
Not something for a guy who calls himself president.

The gas supply to Armenia is decreased to 30%. The supplies to country are non existent. and if El Presidente doesn't care Georgians and Russians wouldn't care at all.
Again it shows that how vulnerable Armenia is. We need a better leadership.
Not a responsibly dodging, casino attending, cocaine sniffing moron.

He would have missed a few photo opportunities had he come back home.

Plus, he is an illegitimate president so you shouldn't have high expectations from this man.

Give the poor guy a break!!!
He is fortunate to be away, otherwise he might be forced to say something. What he got to say?
Serj and Misha are two whores serving different, antagonizing clients. Each thought that made a better choice, each believed he was better loved and better payed. Now Serj's client got his hands on Misha, and makes love to him adding some spanking and elements of BDSM. Serj is in a situation when he can be dumped by the Master if the latter finds kinky sex with Misha more pleasurable than boring relation with him. Or the Master may like BDSM so much that will start spanking Serj too. Better to stay away. Meanwhile Misha's client turned out to be a chicken and not able to defend his bitch, from which Serj may conclude that he is not worth even a flirt.
