Ever wondered what Arthur Baghdasaryan is up to nowadays? Yes, the former fake oppositionist, current head of the National Security Council of Armenia Arthur Baghdasaryan. Apparently, he is busy with establishing the “organisation which shares our ideology”... in Dubai where he had lavish New Year celebrations this year with some of his party comrades. Pay attention to the word “ideology” here, that is his Orinats Yerkir party's "ideology". A laughing stock.

Երեկ ԱԺ-ում կայացած ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ ԱԺ «Օրինաց երկիր» խմբակցության ղեկավար Հեղինե Բիշարյանը լրագրողներին փորձում էր համոզել, որ Ամանորին ՕԵԿ-ական պատգամավորները մեկնել են Դուբայ ոչ թե հանգստանալու, այլ իրենց «հերթական կառույցն այնտեղ ստեղծելու նպատակով»։ Հարցին, թե ի՞նչ ծրագրի շրջանակներում են իրենք Դուբայի ամենաթանկ հյուրանոցում մնացել, և արդյոք ո՞չ պետբյուջեի միջոցներով՝ Հ. Բիշարյանը պատասխանեց. «Որևէ կուսակցություն պետբյուջեի հաշվին որևէ տեղ չի գնում։ Կարծում եմ, շատ մարդիկ, կուսակցություններ դրսում են լինում, բայց քննարկման չի ենթարկվում՝ ով ուր է գնում։ Այո, ՕԵԿ-ն իր նախագահ Արթուր Բաղդասարյանի հետ մեկնել էր Դուբայ, և սա մեր հերթական հանդիպումն էր դրսի հայկական համայնքի հետ։ Կարծում եմ՝ այստեղ որևէ արտառոց բան չկա, թե ինչպիսի հյուրանոցում, ովքեր էին գնացել»։ ՕԵԿ-ական պատգամավոր Հովհաննես Մարգարյանն էլ հավելեց. «Մենք մեր աշխատավարձով տոմս ենք գնել և գնացել ենք մեր հերթական կառույցը բացելու Դուբայում»։ «Դուբայում «Օրինաց Երկիր» կուսակցությո՞ւն եք ստեղծում» հարցին Հ. Մարգարյանը պատասխանեց. «Մեր քաղաքական ուժին հարող հասարակական կազմակերպություն, որն այնտեղ կրում է մեր գաղափարախոսությունը»։ ՕԵԿ պատգամավորների «պարզաբանումները» մեղմ ասած, արժանահավատ չեն, քանի որ Ամանորին ոչ ոք գործնական հանդիպումներ, այն էլ՝ Դուբայում, չի ունենում։

«Մենք մեր աշխատավարձով տոմս ենք գնել եւ գնացել ենք մեր հերթական կառույցը բացելու Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրություններում, ի դեպ, նմանատիպ կառույցներ մենք ունենք եւ Ֆրանսիայում, եւ Գերմանիայում, ասեմ ավելին, Գերմանիայում այդ կառույցների մասնակից է նաեւ նույն իմ անուն-ազգանունով եւ հայրանունով իմ եղբոր որդին, որը բնակվում է այնտեղ եւ Գերմանիայի քաղաքացի է»,- ԱԺ ճեպազրույցների ժամանակ այսպես բացատրեց ՕԵԿ-ի ղեկավար կազմի՝ Արաբական Էմիրություններ կատարած վերջին այցի մանրամասները ՕԵԿ-ական պատգամավոր Հովհաննես Մարգարյանը, եւ երբ լրագրողները զարմացան, թե ինչպես է կուսակցական կառույց հիմնվել այլ երկրում, պարոն Մարգարյանը նոր բացատրություն տվեց. «Ոչ թե կառույց, մեր քաղաքական ուժին հարող հասարակական կազմակերպություն, որը կրում է մեր գաղափարախոսությունը»:

Tzitzernak2 has relevant post on "all things interesting" going on in Dubai, including a huge ARF fundraiser event which happened around the same time that Arthur Baghdasaryan was in Dubai too:

Interestingly enough, the Armenian Weekly doesn't mention the other ARF members there, despite the fact that they are Ministers in the government: Arsen Hambardzumyan, Spartak Seiranyan, Aramayis Grigoryan. To get that information, you have to go to Azad Hye. From what I know, and I may be wrong, those three are non-Diasporan Armenians. So no surprise there that the Armenians, from Armenia, who are Ministers in the government, are not mentioned in the Diasporan Armenian ARF paper. Oh, and Aram I was there, too. And yes, the topic was Hye Tad, Genocide recognition, unification of Armenians around Genocide. Not a word, as far as I can tell, about the current situation. What will these people do if the Genocide is recognized? Who will they be? ...
But wait! Who is missing. Weren't there four in that picture with the champagne? There were. Where is Artur Baghdasaryan? Well, he's not mentioned in that trip to Dubai. But he did go to Dubai, somewhere within days of that banquet. He stayed in a five star unnamed hotel, which his staff is trying now to explain and to fervently clarify that flight and hotel expenditures were NOT from the government budget. Apparently Orinats Yerkir is setting up satellite locations, which it sounds like they may already have in Germany and France, and the newest one will be in Dubai. The purpose being to share their ideology. Well, it does seem like Baghdasaryan may already have connections in Dubai, from his 2004 trip. I am glad the expenditures were not from the government budget - how did he and his colleagues end up with so much money?
So, in some form or another, all four of them were in Dubai, at just around the same time. So what's in Dubai?
I haven't quite figured that out yet. Lots of business dealings, thats for sure. […]”
The ideology is actually this: Sign up with our party and we'll find you a patronage job, it doesn't matter if you are competent or qualified, just loyal to whatever we believe in at this particular moment.
And I guess Arthur is still investigating his pre-election claim that Serzh Sargsyan was trying to assassinate him? Or that he himself filed a false police report, taking the police's time away from investigating actual crimes? Yet another "unsolved mystery"....
