Opposition MP: Authorities are playing dangerous game

After visiting families of killed during weekend clashes civilians, Anahit Bakhshyan, MP from opposition Heritage party says that ‘state of emergency' was declared by Armenian authorities so that they could act without limits, and intensify the atmosphere of intimidation and terror.

“This will certainly have a boomerang effect”, continues Anahit Bakhshyan. “At the end, so much pressure, pressure to such a level against people’s will could lead to nothing but reaching critical degree and open up, open up again. Authorities are playing very dangerous game. Very dangerous, damaging our statehood.”
